Wildlife photographer Maya Stevens thought she’d left danger behind in the Brazilian rainforest. As she tracks a pack of wolves for her latest conservation project, Maya finds herself drawn to the enigmatic head forest ranger, Magnus Blackwood. His intimate knowledge of predator behavior both intrigues and unsettles her. But when her medical background as a veterinarian reveals disturbing inconsistencies in the wolf pack’s movements, Maya begins to suspect that the forest holds darker secrets than she imagined.
